Classroom Grants

The Wenatchee School District is proud to offer a Classroom Innovation Grants. The program is designed to focus on instructional & learning innovation. Classroom Innovation Grants are available to elementary, middle, and high schools in the Wenatchee School District. Along with individual grants, we will also offer collaborative grants! This is a competitive grant program designed to provide funds for the most innovative, educational and developmental activities created by Wenatchee School District teachers. This program is designed to encourage and foster enhanced learning through innovation in instructional technologies.

The Wenatchee Innovation Grant program is designed to focus on instructional technology innovation which will:

  • inspire and engage elementary, middle, and high school students
  • encourage teachers to explore and create innovative instructional technology strategies
  • enhance learning for students

Process

Teachers are invited to apply online:

  • September 2, 2016 through November 25, 2016
  • January 4, 2017 through March 24, 2017.
  • District technology personnel “blind read” and score applications. CIG recipients will be announced and equipment will be distributed. At the end of the school year, all CIG recipients will submit a final report to the district technology committee and be asked to participate at our annual technology showcase event.
