Washington Elementary has been recognized as one of the top 50 schools nationwide for effectively using Imagine Learning to help kids learn. This is the second year in a row Washington has been so duly recognized.
Imagine Learning is an award-winning language and literacy software program that features interactive activities, videos, and games. It’s research-based, instructionally differentiated, and fun to use.

“This is an award that recognizes the hard work and dedication of our staff and the persistence of our language learning students,” says Principal Keith Collins. “Special recognition goes to Shayne Rennie, Intervention Specialist and Lucy Ochoa, para pro for their work in successfully coordinating and implementing the program. Washington Elementary’s language learning students spend the necessary time in the Imagine Learning program to demonstrate significant growth.”
About one hundred students use the program at Washington.
Washington Elementary is also a Washington Achievement Award winner, earning the state’s highest academic honor two years in a row. Washington received special recognition for Reading Growth.
