Twelve parents have been chosen for an advisory group to meet monthly at Wenatchee High School with WHS Principal Eric Anderson to discuss issues and provide input. The group includes four parents from each of the district’s middle school boundary attendance areas who have children enrolled at Wenatchee High School, including freshmen starting high school in 2017. The group will meet monthly at 6:30 PM. 

"The parent advisory group is a great way for Wenatchee High School to hear the consistent perspective of parents,” says Eric Anderson. “I look forward to working side by side with the twelve members of the advisory group. And I thank all the parents who applied.” 

The high school solicited applications from parents in March. Applicants were asked to commit to a two-year membership if possible. Wenatchee School Board members selected the committee members from the applications, making every effort to select parents who represent the high school’s demographics.
