I grew up in Spokane Washington. My husband and I raised three beautiful children. Our son lives in Seattle, expecting their first and our two girls live in Wenatchee with families of their own making me a grandmother to three toddlers, soon to be four. After the grandchildren were born, we sold our family home and left lifelong jobs to build a new community of neighbors and friends in Wenatchee. After living in Walla Walla for 32 years, we decided family is what is most important and moved to Wenatchee to be a part of our children and grandchildren's lives. My experience in School Nursing comes from my work in the Walla Walla Public Schools 20+ years. During that time I earned my Masters of Science in Psychiatric Nursing, as well as my license to practice as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Being so close to retirement with our move, I chose to stay in school nursing as this enables me to work with children and families more holistically. Schools are an amazing place to get to know a community of people. For even more fun, I’ve learned to scull, which now is my passion. I love being on the water and getting a great workout at the same time.
