Wenatchee has swept the education awards for the last two years.
Nominations for GWATA’s 18th Annual Innovator Awards are being accepted through July 13. The awards honor the region’s tech leaders in business and education.
Three of the five awards are focused on education:
- Future Tech Leader of the Year (K-12 student)
- Problem Solving Innovator of the Year (College student)
- STEM Educator of the Year
Winning innovators in the three education categories will each receive a scholarship of at least $250 toward their education or classroom.

Nominations are due July 13 and can be made at gwata.org/innovators. Nominations can be submitted by any individual, business or student. Individuals and businesses can also nominate themselves
Awards will be presented at GWATA's annual Innovators Award Luncheon on September 26, 11:30 a.m.. - 1:30 p.m.. at the Wenatchee Convention Center. Tickets may be purchased at gwata.org/innovators
