We Will Rock You, and Read to You

Mission View Elementary ROCKED Read Across America Week in the most unforgettable way. The annual Rockin' Read In at Mission View took on a whole new level this year with an all-star assembly that brought down the house. The MV Strings Ensemble had the entire gym pumped with a performance of Queen's "We Will Rock You," confetti flew, Apple Blossom Royalty cheered and the teacher dancing was UNREAL.

And if that wasn't enough — the crowd gave an extra special celebration to a very beloved birthday boy: Mission View Principal Jeff Jaeger!

After all the excitement, students filled the hallways in full rock star style — wigs, shades, and all — and settled in to do what the day is really all about: reading together.

This is what happens when you mix a love of literacy with an absolutely legendary school community. Mission View, you never disappoint.
