Cross Country

General Information: Practices start the first day of school on Tuesday August 27th after school. The season runs until Oct. 18th. Practices are at Pioneer Middle School out in Triangle Park. The team is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

Athlete Responsibilities: Students must complete all athletic paperwork before they will be allowed to practice. Athletes must provide their own athletic shoes. 8 practices are required before the athlete can compete in a meet. Student-Athletes must be passing all classes (no F letter grades) to compete in league and in-district games. 

When is practice: Teams usually practice daily 3:15-5:00 pm. at Pioneer Middle School (Triangle Park).

When are games: Team usually has 7 league contests, generally on Thursday starting at 3:45 PM or 4:00 PM, with one or two Saturday Invitational meets.

Transportation: Buses will take students to Pioneer Middle School for practices after school. Parents are responsible to pick up students after competitions or practices at Pioneer Middle School.
