FinalForms: Register for Wenatchee Athletics

Wenatchee School District uses FinalForms for all middle and high school athletic and activity registration and clearance. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign forms for student participating and saves data from year to year — meaning that you never need to enter the same information twice. The program also pre-populates information for each of your students wherever possible, saving you time. Families can review and update information anytime.

Regardless of your student's current interest in participating in a sport or activity, you are encouraged to follow the instructions in the email and make an account for your student to ease registration in the future. Registration must be completed and clearance confirmation received before your student-athlete participates in their first practice.

1. Gather Your Information (Before You Start FinalForms):

  • Insurance company and policy number
  • Emergency contacts
  • Copy of your sports physical

Read the Parent FinalForms Playbook Here: English | Spanish

2. Click on the email you receive and begin completing your forms.

  • Parents can register their student for all sports they are interested in for the current school year.
    • Note: Only parents/guardians can initiate registration. Once the parent completes their portion, an email will be sent to the student.
  • They will only be able to participate in 1 each season; however, they can initially register for more.
  • Once they are registered, it allows coaches and schools to communicate with parents and students in preparation for the season.

3. Ensure Your Student Has a Current Sports Physical:

  • All student-athletes must have a valid sports physical in FinalForms.
  • Sports-physicals are valid for two years
  • A copy of your sports-physical needs to be uploaded into your student's file in FinalForms.
  • If you believe you had a physical during the 24-25 school year and it is still valid, however you do not have a copy of it, you may contact the Athletic Office.

4. Pay Associated Fees:

  • Athletic and activity fees can be paid at the ASB office or online.
    • If paying online, the student MUST present their receipt to the Athletics Office.
  • Fees may be waived for qualifying students. To qualify, families must have a completed Free & Reduced Lunch application in place with Consent to Share. Newly completed forms will take 2-3 days to process. Contact the Nutrition Services office for additional details on the Fee Reduction Program.

Enroll With the Wenatchee School District for Athletics Participation

With the implementation of FinalForms, the Wenatchee School District now requires all private, charter, and homeschooled students who wish to participate in district athletic, music, and Career & Technical Education programs to register with the district and enroll in relevant courses. Students registering exclusively for Wenatchee Athletics programs will not be required to enroll in any courses at a WSD school. This change will help ensure the safety of all students and improve communication with families.

All private, charter, and homeschool students are required to complete our standard student enrollment form and provide the necessary supporting documentation. Please note that students must reside within the Wenatchee School District boundary to be eligible for WSD athletics and programming.

Student Enrollment Process

  1. Visit wenatcheeschools.org and select the “Student Registration” link located in the quick links directly below the rotating banner. Complete the student enrollment form and submit all required documents.
    • Online Registration: Selecting “Student Athlete Only” ensures students enrolling solely for athletics participation will not be enrolled in classes at WSD schools.
    • Paper Application: Checking the “Student Athlete Only” box at the top of the paper application ensures students will not be enrolled in classes at WSD schools.
    • Please allow two weeks for enrollment applications to be processed. Enrollment forms received during the summer will be processed in mid-August.
  2. Once school enrollment has been processed by our staff, parents will receive an email with a link to FinalForms where they will complete the athletics clearance form, select their sports, and upload a valid physical
  3. Pay the ASB and sports fees in the ASB office at Wenatchee High School. These fees may be waived for students who qualify. Contact the Nutrition Services office for details on the Fee Reduction Program.

Why This Change Matters

This updated process allows us to formally enroll all students participating in WSD athletics, music, and CTE, which provides several key benefits:

  • Enhanced Student Safety: By formally enrolling and adding students to our student Information system, we'll have immediate access to vital emergency contact and health information, as well as immunization records for students. This ensures our staff and coaches have critical details readily available when they need them most, especially in an emergency.
  • Improved Parent Communication: Once a student is added to our student information system, they will be automatically added to ParentSquare, our primary communication system. Once programs are underway and the athletic season begins, parents will receive important updates, schedule changes, and emergency notifications directly to their phone or email, keeping them fully informed. Parents will also receive building notifications in the event of issues impacting the school or practice facility, such as a school closure due to inclement weather or heating and cooling problems.
