Nicole Harper

My name is Nicole Harper. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 11 and thus sparking my medical career. (Along with there being 4 other nurses in my immediate family) I graduated from Cashmere High School in 2006, attended Wenatchee Valley College where I got an AA and went to Nursing School and obtained my RN in 2010. I completed my BSN through Western Governors’ University 2017, am currently working on my ESA Certificate and plan on returning to WGU to complete my Masters’ Degree in Nursing.  I have previously worked  in Geriatrics and Geropsych, Day Surgery, and mostly Medical and Oncology (bedside nursing). The 22/23 school year is my first year of school nursing and I am greatly enjoying it! 

A fun fact! I attended 1st-8th grade in the German school system and remain fluent in reading and writing. 
In my free time, my husband, our two young kids, the dog and I enjoy hiking, hunting, gathering and food preservation.  We are expanding our garden and putting in a greenhouse this year! I also like to cross-breed chickens to harvest different colored eggs.
