Title 1 Parent information

Dear Parents:

This is information required by Title 1A ESSA.  

At the beginning of the school year, a district receiving Title I Part A funds must notify parents of children enrolled in school receiving Title I Part A funds that they can request the following information regarding instructional staff who work with their children:

• Whether or not the child’s teacher has met state certification for the grades and subjects he or she is teaching
• Whether or not the teacher is working with an emergency or conditional certificate where state certification criteria has been waived
• The baccalaureate degree major of the teacher and any other graduate certification or degree held, including field or discipline of the certificate or degree
• If the child receives instructional services from a paraprofessional(s) and if so, his or her qualifications.

Padres con estudiantes que están asistiendo estas escuelas pueden solicitar la siguiente información con respeto al Personal educacional que trabaja con sus niños.

• Si el maestro de su  hijo ha cumplido la certificación estatal para los grados y sujetos que esta ensenado o no.
• Si el maestro esta trabajando con certificado de emergencia un certificado condicional donde los criterios de la certificación del estado han sido renunciado.
• El comandante del grado del bachillerato del maestro y de cualquier otra certificación o grado del graduado llevado a cabo, incluyendo el campo de la disciplina de las calificaciones del certificado certificación o grado llevado a cabo, incluyendo el área de la disciplina de las calificaciones del certificado o del grado
