January is School Board Appreciation Month

January is School Board Appreciation Month. Wenatchee School Board members were honored at a reception before the January 24, 2017 board meeting. The national award winning Mariachi groups played for the board, followed by tributes from school principals on behalf of their schools and students. Superintendent Brian Flones read a proclamation from Governor Jay Inslee honoring the dedication and work performed by board members.

Board members are President Robert Sealby, Laura Jaecks Vice-President, and board members Dr. Walter Newman, Jennifer Talbot and Claudia DeRobles.
