Mr. Johnson's Art
TESSELLATIONS: LIZARDS
Tessellations are a pattern of shapes that fit perfectly together (like puzzle pieces)!
STEPS
Ask Johnson for an Lizard template.
Using scissors from the container next to the door,
cut out lizard on the lines.
Get an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of white card stock paper.
With a pencil, begin tracing your arrow on your paper.
You will have to hold down the lizards, especially around the edges,
while tracing, or you won’t get a good outline.
Figure out how the next lizard fits with the first lizard.
Draw the lines that are missing for that lizard.
Continue until your page is completely full.
The outline may not be exact, so you might have to do some correction.
Color in lizards with whatever colors you like using pencils, sharpies, or crayons!
Turn in to Red Basket when you are done!
