TESSELLATIONS: ARROWS

Tessellations are a pattern of shapes that fit perfectly together (like puzzle pieces)!

STEPS

Ask Johnson for an Arrow template.

Get an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of white card stock paper.

With a pencil, begin tracing your arrow on your paper.

You will have to hold down the arrow, especially around the corners,
while tracing, or you won’t get a good outline.

Figure out how the next arrow fits with the first arrow.
Draw the lines that are missing for that arrow.

Continue until your page is completely full.

The outline may not be exact, so you might have to do some correction.

Color in arrows with whatever pattern you like using pencils, sharpies, or crayons!

Turn in to Red Basket when you are done!
