Message from the Principal

Welcome to John Newbery Elementary!   

Schools are a special place for students and we strive to ensure that students are safe socially, emotionally, and physically. We strive to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment. It is important that students feel safe and feel good about coming to school every day.  Our staff works tirelessly to meet the needs of all learners. Our strong collaborative culture helps students have additional opportunities to learn and extend their learning. 

Our principal, Mr. Yañez, has the unique experience of being a former John Newbery student.  This is a special connection that he shares with students and he uses this background to inspire them.
