6-8th Grade Wrestling Schedule (click on link)

General Information: Refer to Sport Season Dates for practice start and end dates. Teams usually practice daily 3:45-5:45 pm at Foothills. Students are matched by weight for competition. The team is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. 6th graders will have a separate meet schedule from 7th and 8th.

Athlete Responsibilities: Students must complete all athletic paperwork before they will be allowed to practice. Athletes must provide their own athletic shoes. 8 practices are required before the athlete can compete in a match. Students must be passing all classes to compete in league matches, five of seven classes for 6th grade.

When are games: The 7th and 8th grade team usually has 6 league contests. Game days vary depending on level. 7th and 8th graders usually have meets on Thursday starting at 4:00 PM. 6th graders have 3 contests against other 6th grade wrestlers usually on Friday.

Transportation: Buses will take students to all off site matches. Parents are responsible to pick up students after competitions or practices that take place within the Wenatchee School District. Buses will return students to Foothills from out of district matches.

Team Pictures: Team pictures are after school. Information will be given to students the week of pictures.
