Databases

Databases contain reliable, trustworthy resources that you can print or email to yourself and each includes a bibliographic citation. No matter what the research project, you'll find accurate, reliable and diverse sources here.  Ask your librarian if you need help with usernames and passwords.

Gale, Newsbank, Rosetta Stone, Novelist Plus, ComicPlus, Overdrive, and Hoopla are databases that can be accessed through the North Central Washington Libraries - NCW Libraries    (Formerly North Central Regional Library - NCRL) 

For access, students will need to: 

1. Link to the NCW Libraries Online Resources Page 
2. Choose Resources tab and then Online Resources
3. Select a database by Category or Title
4. Login info: 
   Username:  2903099+ Seven digit Student ID# (e.g. 290309901223456  - DO put a zero in front of your ID#)  Password: Six digit Student ID# (e.g. 123456 - DO NOT put a zero in front of the ID#)
5. ***Staff members and visitors to the building must have a current library card in order to access the NCW Libraries databases.
