HOPE is a student led support and education group focused on depression, anxiety, and connection for our students to openly have discussion on how depression and anxiety affects us. Our mission is to educate, connect, and grow. Whether one has a personal experience with depression, anxiety, or other mental illness or are affected in family or in another relationship it allows students an opportunity to feel supported. It is led in an open forum and is open to any student. The goal is to lower the stigma of mental health and help give students an avenue to talk. We meet in Library Room 5 (back of library towards stairs) during lunch every Tuesday. We will be starting a new focus on Anxiety starting 2nd semester.
