Girls Bowling Qualifies for State

The girls bowling team finished second at the district 6 bowling tournament on Friday which qualifies the girls for state over at Narrows Plaza Bowl in University Place (Tacoma area) this Friday and Saturday.  The girls were also regular season Columbia Big Nine league champions. Individual All League honors went to sophomore Hannah Johnson (173 avg) and senior Emilee Groth (168 avg) (2nd team); senior captain Jessica Holbrook (188 avg) (1st team); and sophomore Kylah Hankins Columbia Big 9 Bowler of the Year with a 193 league average. Jeff Leavitt was Coach of the Year.
