New WHS Expectations for Cameras on during class - Letter from Mr. Anderson

New WHS Expectations for Cameras on during class - Letter from Mr. Anderson

WHS Students,

Things are changing! We need you to get up a couple of minutes earlier, brush your teeth for sure, maybe brush your hair, and put on some school appropriate attire. Starting tomorrow (9/23/20), you need to be prepared to turn on your camera during your zoom individual break out sessions. Our teachers miss your smiling faces, bedhead and all! Teachers will be requesting that when possible you have your camera on at all times during your zoom classes.

There will be times when your teacher will expect that you will turn on your camera. Here is what you need to know:

You could be put in individual break out rooms at any given time during a class period and be expected to have your camera and microphone on.

During an assessment (test, quiz, etc) you will be put in an individual breakout room and it is expected that you keep your camera and microphone on to ensure the integrity of the assessment.

Thank you all for your hard work this school year. Our teachers have been extremely impressed with your grit and determination during this time of remote learning. Keep it up!

We will not give up!
