Seniors - Apply for FASFA / WASFA after October 1, 2020

Seniors - Apply for FASFA / WASFA after October 1, 2020

Seniors who are considering going to college during the 2021-2022 school year should fill out the FASFA or WASFA as soon as possible.  Both applications opened on October 1, 2020.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is used to receive aid in the forms of grants, loans, and work-study for college students.
Your Eligibility for grants (which do not have to be repaid) and loans (which do) will generally be based on your financial need, as determined by the information you supply on your FAFSA.

The FAFSA application not only provides free grant money, but even if you don’t qualify, many scholarship foundations require FAFSA completion.  If you are planning on taking out a loan, you will need to submit your FAFSA application as well.
