Two Orchard Middle School Students Earn 1st Place at the 2021 State Agriscience Fair

A huge shout out to two Orchard Middle students who, for the first time in Wenatchee, earned 1st place at the 2021 State Agriscience Fair at the middle school level. 

Diana Rodriguez did a research project in the Animal Systems category where she developed a qualitative analysis, collected, and published her data on two different dog shampoos. 

Blake Oeck participated in the Power and Technical Systems category in which he spent 2 months researching and redesigning an asparagus harvester. 

Beth Hammerberg, an Orchard Middle School Science teacher, was excited about the news and said that both students have the opportunity to revise their research papers and submit them to the national competition.  Congratulations and best of luck to both students!
