WHS Summer School Programs

Discover the variety of learning options available to students this summer. Online, in-person, and CTE mentorships options are available. 

ON-SITE LEARNING 

SCIENCE - IPC / BIOLOGY

  • August 14 - 18 (Mon - Fri)
  • Taught by Mr. Bushy

ENGLISH - FRESHMAN / SOPHOMORE ENGLISH

  • June 20 - 29
  • Taught by Mr. Higgins

MATH - ALGEBRA 1 (Linear)

  • June 20 - 23 (Tues - Fri)
  • Taught by Mr. Van Wey 

APEX ONLINE PROGRAM 

Courses are self-paced, and you can do from home, except for tests

  • Apex teacher - Mr. Kovach
  • Apex support - Ms. Valdovinos & Mrs. Muniz Guzman

OFFICE HOURS FOR PROCTORING TESTS 

  • Tuesdays 12 pm-6 pm
  • Wednesdays 10 am - 4 pm
  • Thursdays 12 pm - 6 pm

Also available by appointment 


CTE SUMMER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Must complete the following:

  • Minimum 20 hr mentorship with a business
  • Attend a minimum of 1 career exploration field trip
  • Create a resume
  • Create a general cover letter
  • Complete the Employability Skills Learning Plan in Schoolinks
  • Will earn 1.0 of CTE or elective credit
