WHS Panther Booster Club Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony for the class of 2024 took place between the girls and boys varsity basketball games on Friday, January 26 in the WHS gym. Recipients were awarded with a plaque by Athletic Director Jim Beeson, and a brief reception was held after the ceremony in the New Commons to celebrate.

Join us in congratulating the inductees:

• Coach James Elwyn: The long-time head swim coach for both boys and girls teams.
• Athlete Connor Elwyn: A three-time individual state champion in track and cross country, and boys swim for the Panthers.
• Athlete Tim Whitley: Considered by many to be the best wrestler in the history of WHS school, Tim is the only wrestler to have placed in all four years of high school.
• Vintage Athlete John Mills: A three-sport standout at WHS in the late 60s who was drafted twice in the Major League Baseball Draft.
