Miguel Viramontes Named Wenatchee High School Head Boys' Soccer Coach

Wenatchee High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Miguel Viramontes as the new Head Coach for the Boys' Varsity Soccer team. A proud Wenatchee High School alumnus and lifelong soccer enthusiast, Viramontes brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the sport to his new role.

Viramontes's soccer journey is a testament to his dedication and talent. His impressive career includes accolades such as Big 9 Player of the Year, All-State MVP, and State Champion. He also received a soccer scholarship from The Evergreen State College. After his playing career, Viramontes transitioned to coaching, serving as the assistant coach at Wenatchee Valley College for the past two years. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in developing six NWAC All-Stars.

"We are thrilled to welcome Miguel back to his alma mater as our new head boys' soccer coach," said Athletic Director Eric Anderson. "His exceptional playing career, coaching experience, and deep roots in our community make him the ideal candidate to lead our program. We are confident that under his guidance, our student-athletes will thrive both on and off the field."

Viramontes's coaching philosophy centers on fostering a positive and growth-oriented team culture, emphasizing hard work, strategic thinking, and the development of well-rounded individuals. His passion for the sport, coupled with his dedication to player development, promises an exciting new chapter for Wenatchee High School Boys' Soccer.
