Jennefer Sanchez Botello
MSN, RN, CPN
I’m Jenny Sanchez Botello, MSN, RN, CPN and I’m one of the school nurses at Wenatchee High School. I grew up in Cashmere and spent 12 years in Seattle after high school, where I attended UW (Go Dawgs!) and later worked at Seattle Children’s Hospital on the inpatient medical unit. That’s where I fell in love with pediatrics and knew I wanted to spend my career supporting kids and teens. During that time, I also earned my board certification as a Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN), which strengthened my commitment to this work.
My husband and I moved back to the valley in 2017 to be closer to our families, and I’ve been in this role ever since. I feel really lucky to work with our high school students and to advocate for families in our community. I still miss the energy of the city sometimes, but I’ve grown to love the valley in a whole new way. If I’m not at school, there’s a good chance I’m at a soccer game. My husband is very involved in the local soccer community, so it’s become a big part of our life too.
