Abby Prieto and Kirstin Jarmin deliver bundles for the 2023 Warm Head, Hands & Feet Drive
Warm Head, Hands & Feet Drive
About
Every year, the WHS Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) club heads a drive helping provide winter-wear to people here in the Wenatchee Valley. Every bundle the drive distributes includes a pair of gloves, socks, and a hat -- including bundles with smaller sizes and treats for kids! Consider donating candy, little games, playing cards, or something minor that is fun for our kid bundles! Please make sure all items donated are new and unused.
Donations are accepted at multiple locations throughout the valley from November 1st - December 1st. Blue donation bins will be set up at the following locations:
- Wenatchee School District Office
- Wenatchee High School Front Entrance
- Wenatchee Senior Activity Center
- Gundersen Dental
- Wenatchee Valley College - Van Tassel Building
- Mission View Elementary
- St Joe’s Catholic Church
Once collecting is completed, RAK bundles the items for distribution to the community.
History
The project was started in 2021 to honor Randi Morrell after his passing. Randi was a Wenatchee resident with a very kind heart and often gave his own hats, gloves, etc. to those in need.
