A student may receive up to 2.0 CTE (elective) credits per semester. If a student starts later than 10 school days after the beginning of each semester, the credits awarded will be pro-rated. For example, if a student starts at the end of the first Quarter, he will receive 0.75 CTE (elective) credits for that semester.
21st Century (soft skills):
While students are gaining trade specific skills with their Tech Center program, the 21st Century (soft skills) component of Wenatchee Valley Tech guides students through SkillsUSA career readiness lessons that will prepare them for workplace success. Workplace skills are broadened with lessons in networking, communication, resume development and cooperation. Students are also directed into the community through job shadows, internships and community service. Every program meets for 21st Century (soft skills) once a month to answer questions and provide work-time. 21st Century (soft skills) is an online course with 24-hour access for students.
We have created a Program Interest Survey...please take a moment to complete the survey here.
