Tractor Drivers take 5th Place at Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE- The Wenatchee FFA tractor driving team placed fifth out of 34 teams at the Washington FFA State Tractor Driving Career Development Event (CDE) held at the Columbia Basin Technical Skills Center.  Team members included Wenatchee High School Juniors Kadi Compton, Wyatt English, and Gage Mathison.  Long hours and hard work practicing paid off with the respectable showing at the competition held all day Thursday.  The four teams who placed ahead of Wenatchee included the Columbia-Burbank FFA who won the event, followed by the Lynden Christian FFA, Quincy FFA, and Meridian (Bellingham) FFA, who placed second, third, and fourth places respectively.  The top eight teams will again be formally recognized for their acheivement at the annual Washington State FFA Convention which will be held next May in Pullman.
