Migrant Family Training: Ready for Kindergarten

The Wenatchee School District Special Programs office will hold a kindergarten readiness training for migrant parents of three and four-year-old children on Friday, April 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Wenatchee School District Central Office, 235 Sunset Ave. Wenatchee. 

The purpose of the training is to equip parents of preschool-aged children with the skills necessary to prepare their child to enter kindergarten academically and socially ready. Attendees will receive kindergarten readiness activities and games to use at home and information on how to register their child for the 2019-2020 school year.

This event is open to all migrant and bilingual parents living in Wenatchee and Malaga. Snacks and childcare will be provided during the training. To register to call WSD Special Programs at (509) 662-9634.
