Kiwanis Holds Holiday Party for WSD 2nd Graders

The Wenatchee Kiwanis Club continued its tradition of giving back to the community by hosting a festive holiday party for second graders in the Wenatchee School District. Half a dozen Key Club members from Wenatchee High School also helped with the festivities. The event featured a kid-friendly buffet, lively music from the Wenatchee Tubadors brass band, and gifts of cozy blankets, hats, coats, and art supplies for each student. The highlight of the celebration was a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, who posed for photos and listened to the children's holiday wishes.
