Retired WHS Athletic Trainer Dale Blair to be inducted into WIAA Hall of Fame

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) has officially announced its inductees for the WIAA Hall of Fame classes of 2021 and 2022.

Retired Sports Medicine Instructor and Wenatchee High School Athletic Trainer Dale Blair is among the individuals to be included in WIAA’s class of 2022. Blair’s name is synonymous with athletic training in Wenatchee and in the state of Washington, and across the nation. Blair retired in June 2022 after 30 years of teaching and leading WHS’s award-winning Sports Medicine program. Blair built the WHS Sports Medicine program into a powerhouse, earning both state and national titles and a reputation for building skills and confidence among students.

Blair will be honored at the  2023 Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon at the Renton Pavilion Events Center on Wednesday, May 3rd. Tickets for the event will go on sale March 13th.
