WHS Theater Director Brings Home 5th Avenue Award

Wenatchee High School Theater Director Paul Atwood won the award for Outstanding Direction at the 16th Annual 5th Avenue Awards Honoring High School Musical Theater in Seattle last week. The 5th Avenue Awards Honoring High School Musical Theater are ‘Washington’s Tony Awards’ for youth theater. Twenty high schools received awards across 21 categories.

Atwood took a total of 81 students and parents combined to the awards ceremony. There, he was awarded for Outstanding Direction for directing the high school’s spring production of “The Wedding Singer.”
