WSD Board Selects New Officers

The Wenatchee School Board elected new officers at their meeting on Tuesday, December 11. Sunny Hemphill was selected to serve as Board president and veteran board member Laura Jaecks was chosen to fill the vice president role. Hemphill replaces Michele Sandberg who served one term as president upon being elected the board in November 2017. Jaecks has served on the board since May 2003 and replaces outgoing vice president Sarah Knox.
