The Wenatchee School District board has chosen three finalists for the position of Wenatchee School District’s Superintendent of Schools beginning with the 2019-2020 school year.
Public forums are scheduled from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at Wenatchee High School, 1101 Millerdale Ave., on the following days; Tuesday, February 19, Wednesday, February 20, and Thursday, February 21. The forums are an opportunity for the public to meet each candidate and hear a brief presentation.
Candidates’ names will be released sequentially; the name of each candidate will be made public between 2-3 p.m. the day before the candidate’s interview.
"The finalists chosen are all incredible,” says Wenatchee School Board President Sunny Hemphill. “I can't wait for our stakeholders to meet the finalists and provide feedback that will help the Board make our final selection."
Candidates’ interviews with the school board will occur during special meetings on each of the interview days. The special meetings will commence at 6:30 p.m. dinner at the Springhill Suites 1730 N Wenatchee Ave. No formal action will take place.
