High School Students Apply for the Superintendent's Council

High School Students Apply for the Superintendent's Council

Wenatchee High School and WestSide High School students are invited to submit their names for consideration for a new Superintendent Student Advisory Council. This Council provides opportunities for students to serve and offer their unique perspective and voice to district administration. The purpose of this group is to engage diverse student voices to provide input and viewpoints regarding issues impacting WSD and to create a sustainable and positive difference in our schools.

Interested students can submit their names using an online form by March 29, 2022. There are no GPA requirements; students just need to be interested in representing all the students in our district.

The formation of the Council directly supports the District’s promise to create a foundation of diversity, equity, and inclusion from which each student emerges future-ready. By including students we’re working toward our promise, and creating a district where every student belongs and their academic, social, and emotional needs are met because their insights are valued.

Questions about the council can be directed to Summer Pease at 2023peasesummer@wenatcheeschools.org

Application Closes: March 29, 2022
