Wenatchee High School and WestSide High School are celebrating a significant financial boost thanks to Gesa Credit Union's dedicated support through their debit card affinity program. This year, the program generated an impressive $7,000 for every swipe, tap, and purchase made by Gesa Credit Union members using their WHS and WSHS-branded debit cards. This is the fourth year of the partnership with Gesa.
This substantial contribution directly benefits the Associated Student Body (ASB) accounts at both high schools, providing crucial funds for student activities, programs, and initiatives.
"We are incredibly grateful to Gesa Credit Union for their continued partnership and generous support," said Diana Haglund, Wenatchee School District Director of Communications. "The funds generated through this program make a real difference in the lives of our students, allowing us to enhance their educational experience and extracurricular opportunities."
Gesa Credit Union members are encouraged to show their support for local schools by requesting a WHS or WSHS-branded debit card at any local Gesa branch. Every transaction contributes directly to student success.
