NCW College & Career Expo Connects Students with their Futures

Over 2,100 high school students from around the region attended the NCW College & Career Expo November 4 at Wenatchee Valley College.

Representatives from businesses, vocational training, military, colleges and universities talked with students about future careers and educational opportunities. Over one hundred organizations, including twenty colleges and universities, participated. The Expo is a community effort to connect students with employers and training programs

High School students came from all across North Central Washington, including Wenatchee, Eastmont, Chelan, Cascade, River Academy, Waluke, Wilson Creek, Moses Lake and Brewster.

The NCW College and Career Expo was organized under the leadership of Diana Haglund, Wenatchee Learns Connect, Coordinator, Dennis Conger, Wenatchee School District Career and Technical Education Director, in partnership with Wenatchee Valley College.  

The NCW College and Career Expo is supported by a Stronger Schools grant from the Community Foundation of North Central Washington.
