Bill Eagle New State and Federal Programs Director

Superintendent Brian Flones announced today that he has recommended Bill Eagle as the new State and Federal Programs Director replacing Nancy Duffey who will be retiring at the end of the school year. Bill will take on this new role beginning with the 2016-2017 school year. The Wenatchee school board will act on the recommendation at their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, March 22.
 
“I’m excited to try and help students who struggle,” Bill said, “which is a big part of what the state and federal programs are about.” 
 
Bill Eagle is currently principal at Columbia Elementary School, a position he has held since 2012. He served as Assistant Principal at Orchard Middle School from 2005 to 2012. Before entering administration Bill was a district math coach from 2003 - 2005, and a math teacher and math department chair at Wenatchee High School from 1998 – 2004.
 
Bill earned a B.A. in Mathematics and an M.A. in Mathematics Education from Central Washington University. He earned his principal and superintendent certification from Washington Sate University in 2005 and 2013.
 
Bill and his wife Kim have three children, all boys.
