Si Stuber Selected as New Columbia Elementary Principal

Superintendent Brian Flones announced today that he has recommended Si Stuber for the Principal position at Columbia Elementary. Mr. Stuber was the top choice out of 19 applicants that applied for the position. The Wenatchee school board will act on the recommendation at their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 26th. Si Stuber will replace Bill Eagle, the current Principal at Columbia Elementary, who has accepted the Director of State and Federal Programs with the District Office.

Si has been the Assistant Principal at Union Gap School K-8, in Union Gap Washington for the past 6 years. At Lee University in Cleveland Tennessee, Si received a B.S. in Human Development K-8. He earned his Master’s Degree in School Administration from Central Washington University.

Si, his wife Stephanie and their three children—first grade daughter, second grade son, and incoming kindergarten son—will be relocating to the Wenatchee area. The new principal position begins on July 1, 2016.
