Culinary Arts Students working with Guest Chef from Chateau Faire le Pont for Dinner January 19, 2017

Chef Seth McKee from Chateau Faire le Pont will be preparing dinner with Culinary Arts students of Wenatchee Valley Technical Skills Center on Thursday, January 19th beginning at 6:00 PM. Chef Seth and the students will create a five course Pacific Northwest Winter menu including Beef Shank Ravioli, Flounder, and Grilled Pear Trifle. Tickets are available to the public for $35 per person.

 

The dinner kicks off the “Chef’s Dinners” events held by Culinary Arts students of the Tech Center and local chefs. The program is designed to provide the students with real world experience with a chef, and to incorporate local professionals into career and technical education programs. The proceeds from the ticket sales cover the food costs, and provide funding for a field trip to Seattle Central College to tour the Seattle Culinary Academy. The funds also cover the costs of a formal lunch at the school.
