Opening Day Events

August 22, 2023 is the Wenatchee School District’s Opening Day.

All festivities are held at Wenatchee High School, 1101 Millerdale Ave. This day serves as the official kick-off for the upcoming school year. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran, rookie school employee, community member or business partner, we’re excited to see you at this annual event. Festivities include a continental breakfast, Community Fair and all-district assembly.

We're excited to see you and celebrate the start of another school year during Opening Day  We'll kick off the day with a Community Fair with local businesses, groups and organizations and a continental breakfast thanks to our presenting sponsor Gesa Credit Union

Certificated Staff – August 22 is required as part of the District Professional Development Days. 
Classified Staff – Will be time sheeted for their attendance (see your building principal for process).

Join us for opening day and showcase your business or organization to over 700 Wenatchee School District employees at the community fair. Bring prizes, swag, and information to share!

What to Expect
500-700 employees attend the Community Fair so plan accordingly. You are welcome to bring a door prize to be awarded during our staff assembly. Please bring all the supplies needed to draw and award your prize. 

Vendor Registration
Due to school employees benefit board (SEBB) regulations the community fair is limited to businesses/organizations that do not offer competing services with SEBB (medical, dental, and vision plans & benefits, Life, LTD, FSA, & DCAP insurance)

Registration includes 6ft table and two chairs. Electricty and electrical outlets are not available.
