Response to State Supt. Message on Reopening Online

This week several school districts in the Puget Sound area announced their plans to take learning fully online in the fall. Shortly after State Superintendent Chris Reykdal made a statement addressing the concerns of districts and parents in the wake of a spike in transmission of COVID-19 across the state. The Wenatchee School District continues to work closely with local health authorities and neighboring districts to evaluate plans for safely restarting schools in the fall. This is a very fluid and rapidly changing situation. The District plans to provide an update on our plans early next week.
