District Update
The beginning of the year always holds such excitement and promise. During the month of August, staff and administrators are busy preparing to welcome our over 7,500 students to our 16 schools. The first day of school is coming up on Tuesday, August 27. New superintendent, Dr. Paul Gordon arrived on July 1 and has been actively engaging in the community, connecting with migrant summer school students and staff, collaborating with our school board and developing a deeper understanding of the Wenatchee Valley and District operations. Look for Dr. Gordon at your school’s welcome back open house and at events around the District.
