AP EXAM INFORMATION
Students enrolled in AP classes who wish to receive college credit must participate in AP testing; however, AP classes are just one of the ways students can take advanced courses at WHS. Taking the Advanced Placement exam in May is always optional. Students must join their AP course in the myAP app AND register and pay at the ASB office by these deadlines.
DEADLINES FOR AP EXAM REGISTRATION:
- Full Year and 1st semester AP courses: November 7, 2025
- AP courses that are ONLY 2nd semester: March 6, 2025
| AP Test Fees * | |
|---|---|
| Standard exam fee | $105 |
| Late registration exam fee | $145 |
* Lower fees available for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. See additional info below.
January 16, 2026 is the deadline to submit SSD accommodations requests for AP testing. Submit requests through the SSD coordinator (SSD online) for any accommodations requested during AP testing.
This includes any accommodations a student receives through a 504 Plan or IEP. The College Board does not automatically allow for these accommodations, so students and families must submit a request. Please work with your counselors to submit these requests. For requests submitted after that date, there's no guarantee that accommodations will be processed or approved in time for exams. This is only necessary if students plan to take AP exams. These links have more information: AP Exam Accommodations and College Board Accommodations.
ASVAB Testing
The ASVAB, an exam measuring career aptitude, is open to students in grades 10 - 12. Students interested in participating should contact their counselor or WHS Testing Coordinator Shelby Torres.
