Miranda Skalisky

Board Member - Board Position #4

Miranda attended Wenatchee Valley College, where she graduated in 2016. During her studies, she had the opportunity to complete an internship with the Wenatchee Police Department in 2015 as a Community Outreach Coordinator. This allowed her to advocate for local law enforcement and build transparent relationships with the community. Her passion for serving the community was ignited by this experience. She engaged in several community service and outreach activities in the Wenatchee Valley, including the Latino Citizens Academy, Coffee with a Cop, Volunteer in Police Services, and Knights of Justice. Miranda also volunteered for Special Olympics and Camp Fire USA. Miranda went on to attend Purdue University Global, where she earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice with an emphasis on juvenile behavior in 2020.

Currently, Miranda works for the State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services Adult Protective Services as an Investigator for vulnerable adults in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan Counties. In addition, she serves as the board President for North Central Washington Camp Fire Camp Zanika and Finding Finnegan Dog Rescue.

Miranda was elected to the Wenatchee School Board in November 2023, serving for District 4.
