General Information about Food Services  

The Nutrition Services Department offers a wide range of services to the students and staff of the Wenatchee School District. For more information read the Food Service Reference Manual.

Operating under  guidelines of the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program, each school provides breakfast and lunch for students enrolled at that school. Guests are also welcome to eat lunch with their student. See below for guest/adult prices.

In addition to breakfast and lunch, all middle school sites and the high school offer a variety of snack-type items that students may purchase at an additional cost. The cost of these items ranges in prices from $.50 to $1.50. Students must have cash or money on their lunch account to purchase these additional items. Some examples of items sold are bottled water and juice, scratch-made cookies, crackers, chips, and cereal bars. All items offered meet federal guidelines for Smart Snacks.

Lunch Accounts

Did you know you could put money on your student's lunch account to minimize the need to carry cash everyday? We offer several options for loading money to student lunch accounts. First, you may send a check or cash to school with your student. Please indicate who and what the money is for on an envelope or note accompanying the money. If payments need to be split between students, please let us know how to split the payment. Additionally, we offer the convenience of an online system.
