Mark Belton
Board Member - Board Position #4
Mark Belton is a lifelong Wenatchee resident and proud parent with deep roots in the valley. He currently serves as the Procurement and Contract Services Supervisor at Chelan PUD, where he oversees complex purchasing and contracting for public utility projects, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance. His professional experience includes work in policy development, legal coordination, and public accountability, all of which contribute to his thoughtful approach to governance.
Mark’s passion for public service extends beyond his professional life. He serves on the board of directors for Music Theatre of Wenatchee, where he was recently elected president for the 2026–2027 term, and is also a board member for Small Miracles, a local nonprofit providing summer meals to children in need. These roles reflect his commitment to community, creativity, and equity—values he brings to his work on the Wenatchee School Board.
Mark joined the board in 2025 with a clear goal: to help Wenatchee School District become the premier educational institution in the region while fostering a safe, inclusive environment for all students, staff, and community members. He believes strong schools build strong communities and is dedicated to making sure every voice is heard, respected, and empowered.
