Optional Student Device Assurance
The Wenatchee School District offers an optional protection plan to safeguard your student’s school-issued device. You must choose to enroll in or decline this coverage every school year.
* This plan is only necessary for students in grade levels authorized to take devices home daily.
🛡️ What is Covered?
The plan protects the device both at school and at home against:
- Accidental drops and cracked screens
- Liquid damage and spills
- Fire, flooding, natural disasters, and lightning power surges
- Vandalism or theft (Requires an official police report to be covered)
❌ What is NOT covered? Standard loss, misplacement, or leaving the device unattended without supervision.
💰 Cost & Repair Limits
The assurance plan costs $26 and allows up to two covered incidents per school year:

Please complete enrollment requirements and submit payment within 60 days of the start of the school year:
Step 1: Fill Out the Form Complete the required Device Assurance and Coverage Form using the online portal or a printed copy (available via links below).Step 2: Submit Your Payment- Pay Online: Process electronic payments quickly using the secure web payment engine link below.
- Pay in Person: Bring cash, check, or a credit card directly to your student's school main office.

- Non Employee Account Request - Non-Employee staff account access will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Most will not receive a Skyward account but will be added into our school district Google, Canvas, and Zoom services for access only for the duration of their time with the district and only with access within the district for business purposes. Non-employee accounts will be tagged with an expiration date corresponding to their contract/duty end date.

The Technology Department is a supportive division under the Director of Technology, supporting technology equipment, network services, telephone systems, electronics (alarms, clocks, bells) hardware standards and refresh, help desk services, building technology support, teacher instructional technology support, purchasing, planning, and visioning.
Computer Hardware Repair
- Physical repair of all computer hardware to include desktop and laptop cpu, monitors, printers
- Parts ordering for all repairs and replacements
All local area network (LAN) services to include:
- New wiring design for network connectivity inside buildings
- All switch installation for group network access
- All wireless access and configuration
- Ricoh Management
All wide area network (WAN) services to include:
- New circuit design for network connectivity outside buildings/ building to building
- Internet service from the building through the K-20 network
- Firewall and content filter management
- Network performance monitoring
