Communications
Our mission is to foster a transparent and engaging relationship between our schools and the community we serve. We are the central point of contact for all district-wide communications, dedicated to sharing the incredible stories of our students, staff, and schools.
We manage a wide range of responsibilities to ensure you stay informed and connected, including:

Upholding a consistent and professional brand identity for the district and assisting with the development and consistent use of school identity standards.
Point of contact for district and school logos and brand identity documentation.

Overseeing and approving all distribution of information, public announcements, athletic field advertisements, general and legal ads, and all district signage.

Serving as the primary contact for news media to provide timely and accurate information. Producing news releases and arranging interviews with staff and students.

Managing our primary communication platform to connect with families. Assisting staff with access and training needs.

Creating and managing all digital content and printed materials. Include our weekly Friday e-newsletter WSD Weekly, and printed newsletter, Inside Wenatchee Schools

Documentation of a summary report of actions and important information from school board meertings. Summary reports are sent via email and ParentSquare to staff, parents and community members.

Managing district and school accounts for archiving and compliance. Highlighting district news and accomplishments across all social platforms.

Capturing the moments that define our schools. Managing school staff and student photography and ID badges.

Assisting the superintendent and serving as the Public Information Officer during important events and crises.

Keeping our district and school websites up-to-date and user-friendly. Assisting our staff and schools with website training and support services.
