Every student's path to independence looks a little different. WSD’s Transitions Program is here for all of them.

This community-based vocational training program serves students ages 18-21 who have completed high school and chosen to continue building the skills that open doors — vocational training, self-advocacy, community connections, daily living skills, and functional academics.

Wenatchee Transitions is proud to partner with Stemilt Growers, Confluence Health, Albertsons, and Wenatchee School District to provide our students with real jobs, real paychecks, and real career experience.

Our community partners don't just offer employment — they help shape futures. When you hire a Transitions student, you gain a motivated employee supported every step of the way by a dedicated job coach who handles training, encourages growth, and serves as a liaison between your team and our student. As your student employee builds skills and confidence, the job coach gradually steps back — leaving behind a capable, independent worker supported by the colleagues who have become their natural workplace community.

It's a partnership that works for everyone — and it starts with one conversation.
